A Piano in the Wild

Imagine stumbling upon a baby grand piano in the most unexpected places—Mount Main Beach at sunrise, Tauranga’s waterfront and a city park. Undergrand will transform these local spaces into poetic stages, where music meets the landscape in moments of quiet wonder.

This roaming, open-air musical experience invites you to pause, breathe, and listen. With a line-up of up and coming students and seasoned pianists playing everything from classical to jazz to improvised soundscapes, Undergrand offers pop-up performances that stir the soul and surprise the senses.
