About

Our Schools’ Programme engages students from across Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty with a curated selection of inspiring matinee performances designed especially for young audiences.

By introducing tamariki and rangatahi to powerful, imaginative live experiences, we aim to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and ignite a lifelong love for the arts.

2026 Festival

This year, tamariki will be offered in-school experiences with Li’l Chuck, the One Man Skiffle Machine as they tour around the region offering performances and workshops. Students will have the chance to see The Valentina and a special students only matinee performance of Tāne Rore at Baycourt Community & Arts Centre.
