About

Our Schools Programme engages students from across Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty with a curated selection of inspiring matinee performances designed especially for young audiences.

By introducing tamariki and rangatahi to powerful, imaginative live experiences, we aim to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and ignite a lifelong love for the arts.

2025 Festival

This year, rangatahi can enjoy workshops with musical duo, Aro, experience the iconic Carrus Crystal Palace with a trip to All The Things I Wish I Could Be, and dive headfirst into inventive theatre with The Griegol from Trick of the Light Theatre Company. Australia’s Windmill Theatre Company addresses burning questions like, how did we get here? Are aliens real and is it possible to lick your own elbow? through their highly entertaining performance Creation Creation.
