Introduction

Founded in 1998, Tauranga Arts Festival is a Charitable Trust producing annual arts festivals in Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty. Our vision is to provide experiences that expand minds, delight audiences and touch all corners of our community.

Under this Kaupapa, we put the artists and authors of Aotearoa and beyond front and centre, creating provocative, fun and unique experiences right here, on our doorstep. Our Festivals are all about connection—how we move forward, how we live together.

The variety of arts experiences, along with free programming, bring hearts and minds together in the pleasure of shared experiences. We aim to offer a programme that is accessible to everyone to celebrate our place and the diversity of the people in it.
