Kia haumaru te noho – be safe at home!

We’re hoping this finds you well and making the best of our new, shared reality. The team at Tauranga Arts Festival has been working hard (each in their own bubble) since the lockdown was announced to bring some arts-fuelled diversions into your homes and hearts during these strange times.

Starting this week, at midday each Wednesday and Friday we’ll be reliving all the sparkling wit, profound ideas and thoughtful conversations of Escape! 2018 with audio files posted to our website for your listening pleasure. We’ll also be linking to these from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Plus, we’ll be catching up with what some of our past guests are up to and, with the support of our Festival whānau, posting arts-related video or content that is being produced right here, right now.

If you don’t already follow the Festival on social media, this would be a good time to sign up. Choose whichever platform you prefer and follow the prompts. Followers receive automatic notification of new postings.

Tauranga Arts Festival would like to remind you to follow the Government’s rules on self-isolation during the Covid-19 outbreak. Only by working together as a nation will we be able to overcome this terrible threat to each and every one of us. Stay safe and stay at home.

Kia kaha ki ā tātou!
