Covid-19 Protection Framework
At Escape, we take the ongoing risk of COVID-19 spread seriously. We are working with each of our venue partners to ensure the safety of all staff, presenters and audiences who attend.
Aotearoa is currently in the Orange setting of New Zealand’s COVID-19 Protection Framework. At Orange, we can continue to do everyday activities, but we need to protect our vulnerable communities. There are no capacity limits or distancing requirements at venues and facemasks are not compulsory at events, either indoors or outdoors, but are recommended if you feel unsafe. Workers and volunteers at indoor events must wear face masks, unless they are exempt.
Please do not attend an Escape event:
If you have any cold and flu symptoms, especially those associated with COVID-19 (e.g. fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, sneezing/running nose, loss of sense of smell and/or taste)
You are within your or one of your household’s isolation period from testing positive, or one of your household’s seven-day isolation period (and you have not already recovered yourself)
You are awaiting the results of a PCR test
To protect yourself, your whānau and our Escape community, please be considerate.
