Things that Matter: Escape! 2018
Join poet and youth clinic GP Glenn Colquhoun and David Galler, a veteran of Middlemore Hospital’s intensive care unit, talk to medical student and writer Emma Espiner about the language of caring, what’s broken about our health system and how working with people constantly surprises them. Glenn’s most recent book is ‘Late Love: Sometimes doctors need saving as much as their patients’ (BWB, 2017), while David’s memoir ‘Things that Matter’ (Allen & Unwin) appeared in 2016. Together they have created the online space The Medicine Stories Project for and by medical professionals.
