Our Schools Festival gives Tauranga and Western Bays rangatahi the opportunity to access a range of arts experiences.

The Festival engages schools and students with special matinee performances at student- friendly prices, inspiring future theatremakers, innovators and arts lovers. We take bespoke workshops which leap across artforms into schools, catering to a wide age range.

We are able to bring these low-cost experiences to our kura because of the amazing support of Taylor Bros Transport, who continue to invest in and back our community.

In 2023, rangatahi will be able to participate in workshops with Ockham award-winning poet Tusiata Avia, alt-country music sensations Jenny Mitchell and the Mitchell Twins and one of Aotearoa’s hottest street dance collectives, Projekt Team. They’ll also have the chance to blast off to Mars with the thrilling interactive space adventure, Mission Control: Mars.
