Navigating the Stars

In his latest book Navigating the Stars Witi Ihimaera (Te Whānau a Kai, Te Aitanga A Mahaki, Rongowhakaata and Ngāti Porou) traces the history of Māori through their creation myths and brings the stories into the 21st century. He is joined by Toi Ohomai tutor Que Bidois (Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui), who every year offers students an introduction to Tauranga Moana where he shares in-situ some of the Māori legends that fill our landscape. Kathryn Ryan navigates these story-tellers through their storehouses of knowledge.
