Billboards, banners and digital screens fling daily ‘how to’ messages at a weary public. Discover a series of flags lining Durham Street where artist Nicol Sanders O’Shea asks us to look and think twice. Flying high they present a ‘Brave New World’ where washing hands is mandatory and coming home is tricky. Battles have a start but no finish, daily experiences are data driven, and coughing is the new smoking.
This exhibition has been developed for the Tauranga Arts Festival by Supercut Projects. It joins a series of visual arts experiences around the city centre that can also be found on the free to download CITY ART WALK app.
