Wonderful driving rhythms from this high-energy Brazilian group. Tambolelê have toured Brazil, Italy, Spain, Colombia and the US, and now bring their stunning performance to Tauranga.

They were formed 11 years ago, in the heart of Brazil, and their music and strong vibrant rhythms are inspired by the black heritage of Brazilian cultural roots. They have released three albums and played with major names of Brazilian music. Tambolelê play a huge variety of instruments but they may also transform ordinary items like plates or coffee mugs or a newspaper, into musical instruments.
