Over the past two years they have gained momentum in their live act, progressing from chilled reggae beats to focus on euphoric dance, funk and disco elements, incorporating synths’ and using new technology. The group thrives on live performance and they know exactly what gets audiences on their feet. Tahuna Breaks are regulars on the kiwi summer circuit and have performed at The Big Day Out, Homegrown and many other festivals. They have released two albums Reflections (2007) and Black Brown & White (2009) both of which received rave reviews. Their third album is due for release late 2011.
