Missing in Action
Leadership in the 21st century has never been so necessary, yet everywhere we turn our leaders and role models are letting us down - in politics, business, sport and entertainment, even organised religion.

Award winning business journalist Rod Oram leads a panel comprising Australian ecoactivist Paul Gilding, a former leader of Greenpeace who has made a study of those with a gift for taking people with them on their crusades, and Dame Catherine Tizard, our first female Governor-General who was also the first woman elected as mayor of Auckland. She raised four children while being the wife of an MP and completing a degree in zoology. Dame Catherine remains active in community affairs and is patron or trustee of several organisations.
