The Extinction Room

Join an audience of 18 people and wear headphones and blindfolds and be taken on a journey into the Extinction Room.

You will hear the sounds of endangered and extinct species, the calls of animals that no longer exist - or may soon not exist. These sounds cry out to us in a more immediate and emotive way than words can describe. They are a cry from the animals that share and have shared this planet with us. The layering of sounds is all being created by live looping as you listen. Musician Linsey Pollak believes his work is not just about loss but also about hope and taking action now.
